Michael Jackson memorial at the Apollo

yesterday noon i went to harlem to stop by the Michael Jackson memorial gathering going on outside of the Apollo Theater. I had a lot of time to kill so i just chilled there for like an hour and a half cuz carmen had her check up appointment.
it was pretty fun. i got really busy and packed. hundreds of people came thru showing support. every news channel was there. the vibe of the place was dope. everyone just started chillin, singing and dancing. i decided to jump into the circle for a quick minute but then the circle got a lil bigger. i didnt want my wack ass taking up too much floor time so i danced my way to the sides as another person came in lol.


once i got there, people started preaching and etc.

every one was writing little messages so i made one myself. its a little corny but i didnt wanna just put RIP like everyone else so i thought of a lyric to put and what came to mind was a line from the chorus "you are not alone" -"though we're far apart, you're always in my heart"

white girl started dancing and got mad attention. then after a couple minute the typical "go white girl" chant started.

later on i met up with carmen and we went to check out the alife sale. shit was cheap but nothing rele interest me. saw a fitted for 10 bucks so i couldnt pass. i was gonna get the tims for like 70 bucks but i passed.

when i was coming home, i noticed the sky looked mad weird. my camera wasnt buggin out, the sky was really orange.
